VOLUNTEER
Our program would not exist without our wonderful volunteers! We are a team of parents, siblings, friends and members of the community who love the game and/or love spending time with kids, so we dedicate our time and talents to improving the volleyball experience for each child.

The majority of our volunteers are parents because coaching has been proven not only to benefit our children, but it also benefits us as well.
But you don't need to be the parent of a current player or have prior coaching or volleyball experience to join our team.
All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to encourage kids to do their best!
Positions are now open for the Spring 2025 Season.
Beginner Clinic Coach
Our beginner clinic is the perfect opportunity for parents and family members to get involved! No prior volleyball experience is necessary. All clinics will be led by well-trained volleyball coaches and athletes. Your role will be to help facilitate the drills introduced by the lead coach/athlete.

One night/week for 6 weeks

BYC TEAMS League
Coach
Coaching your child can be one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences you may have as a parent. As a BYC coach, experience is preferred but not required - we'll be there to support you and offer guidance every step of the way. A coaches responsibilities include aligning players to positions, calling time outs and providing encouragement and support for the players during practices and games. Coaches play a critical role at BYC and are the reason we can offer the programs we offer. They teach, encourage and inspire our players and keep families informed on the season.

THE BIG PICTURE
Sports provide an endless supply of teachable moments that can be used by adults to develop great people. This is the Big Picture, what children take away from youth sports. Remaining physically active throughout their life, learning to bounce back from difficulties with renewed determination, learning how to support other people within a team context---these are all the Big Picture. Coaches are the people who provide those moments and help shape the future!
