Family Day
Our divisions are based on age and skill level to help facilitate development in our players while allowing competitive play.
The Beginner division is reserved for 3rd through 5th graders who have some volleyball experience.
The Intermediate division is for 5th through 8th graders who have experience in the sport and have participated in intramural or clinic programs.
The Advanced division is for 7th through 12th graders who have some prior experience in the sport and have participated in one or more competitive leagues.
TheClub & Invitational division is for players in 7th-12th grade who have completed at least ONE season in a Club (Travel) Volleyball program and demonstrate club level skills. Non-club players may be invited to join based on skill level.
All players who attend an Evaluation Session will be placed on a team in one of the 4 divisions. Placement will be determined by BYC Volleyball Coaches and special requests for placement will not be considered this season. Players can only play in ONE division.

• Balls will be provided while at the gym, but it is highly recommended to purchase a ball to practice with at home. The balls that are used in each age group are -

• Full Refund: Available for withdrawal requests made prior to the first practice.
• Partial Refund: May be issued for withdrawal requests made after the first practice.
• No Refunds: Will be issued once the first game of the season has been played.
Refund requests based on reasons such as team placement, playing time, or “I don’t like my team” will not be considered.
Families concerned about injuries during the season are encouraged to purchase third-party sports insurance, which typically covers injury-related withdrawals. Injury-related refunds are not guaranteed through the program.
